Gargoyle Shield is like all Gargoyle Equipment a rare augment possibility from augmenting Obsidian Equipment, it has the same stats as Runite Shield, which gives high defensive stats while in combat. They are tradable and can be bought on the marketplace.

Gargoyle Shield is acquired as a rare augment possibility from augmenting Obsidian Shield, they can be created on any augment.
