In this skill you create Runes from Rune slabs and Essences. These Runes are required to be able to do Enchanting.
To start you'll need to gather essence. Essence can be gathered by doing various activities. If you have an talisman for the essence you're gathering you will gather it 5x faster.
You can find talismans in the rare drops from Gathering skills; Geodes, Birds nests and Sunken Treasures are obtained through Mining, Woodcutting and Fishing respectively.
Every 20 levels you craft one more rune each time you craft one, so at level 20 you'd craft 2 runes and at lvl 40 you craft 3. Each rune gives the same experience (25 xp) in runecrafting per craft.
