A Black Knight Great Helm is a helmet that provides both defensive and offensive bonuses when in combat, requiring level 40 defense to equip. It is currently one of 3 helmets with a strength bonus, offering a +10, double that of the King's Crown.
How to Acquire
While augmenting a Obsidian Full Helm, there's a small chance for it to transform into a Black Knight Great Helm. The transformation can happen on any augmentation.
You can also acquire it by defeating the Elite Black Knight from an Elite Scroll.
If the Obsidian Full Helm is enchanted with a scroll (for example Scroll of Reinforcement) before it has transformed, it keeps the enchantment through the transformation process despite not having any enchantment slots.
