Editing Gems

{{Incomplete|[[Refactor]] March 02, 2023}}Gems are special stones that are used to create different kinds of [[Equipment#Jewelry|rings]] and [[Equipment#Jewelry|necklaces]]. There are five kinds of gems: [[Sapphire|sapphire]], [[Emerald|emerald]], [[Ruby|ruby]], [[Diamond|diamond]] and [[Black Opal|black opal]]. Creating a ring or necklace from a gem requires one gem of that kind, 50 [[Gold Bar|gold bars]], and one [[Gold Ring|gold ring]] or one [[Gold Necklace|gold necklace]].

==Obtaining Gems==
* Gems can be found while [[Mining|mining]].
* The [[Refining]] enchantment grants a chance to find gems while [[smithing]]. 
* The [[Root Digging]] enchantment grants a chance to find gems while [[foraging]].
* Several monsters drop gems, including [[Guard|guards]], [[Lesser Demon|lesser demons]], [[Greater Demon|greater demons]] and [[Infected Naga|infected nagas]]. 

When [[Mining|mining]], the chance to obtain a gem is based on the base timer of the area, therefore it doesn't matter which area is used. The [[Scroll of the Prospector|scroll of the prospector]] can be used to enchant a [[Equipment#Tools|pickaxe]], which further increases the chance of finding gems when mining.

Gems can be used to create [[Equipment#Jewelry|rings]] and [[Equipment#Jewelry|necklaces]], using one gem, 50 [[Gold Bar|gold bars]] and 1 [[Gold Ring|gold ring]] or [[Gold Necklace|gold necklace]].
