The Christmas Event is active from 24 December 2021 - 28 January 2022.

The event reintroduced 3 gathering zones; North Pole Quarry (mining), Evergreen Forest (foraging), Gummy Lake (fishing) where players could gather materials to complete different tasks in the introduced task system.

Event Zones[edit | edit source]

All event zones are available from level 1. Event items do not have a gold value and cannot be sold or disposed except Krampus' Key which can be sold for 69 gold.

Winter essence can be obtained by gathering at an event zone, runecrafting winter runes or smithing magic ice bars.

Unlike Christmas 2020, event gathering zones do not have a combat encounter.

Ho ho ho! Welcome to the 12 Days of Idlescape. I sure am glad you’re here to help me this year, and the fact that you totally agreed to do all my errands for me without guaranteed compensation! Extremely humble of you! Let’s get started on what I need from you!

I know last year things got a little rough when that Krampus dude came and trashed my workshop. Thankfully, he shouldn't be an issue this year with all the Christmas Spirit protecting the North Pole that you stored in those little snowglobes. But.... just in case, I'm gonna have you run out and get some things.

Ho ho ho! Thank you for getting those materials for me! Those will definitely come in handy for getting ready for the holidays! You know the usual preparations; toys for good children like Khazu, sleigh repairs, weapons for defending against Krampus and his armies, building new reindeer stables! Just the boring usual repairs!


Why don't you go 'borrow' some armor from the City guards. Really look around for some elf sized gear, those short little dudes don't fit in the full sized stuff. I'd think about 500 kills... I mean borrowings, should be enough to find a few in the right size. Also, don't forget to /throw a few snowballs while you're at it! If you don't know who you want to throw at, try Farcaster!

Also, sorry about this but I totally might've underestimated the amount of Magic Ice Bars and Winter Runes we needed! Would you be willing to go get some more for me?

Oh! I almost forgot, I'd also really appreciate it if you could go clean up a few of the stronger monsters that are hanging out a little too close to the Workshop. Those pesky Elite Monsters are becoming a real problem. PureCombat should be able to help fight some of those guys. Too bad he wasn't able to come help out this year since I really needed help with gathering this year.
